Schon vor und w\u00e4hrend des Studiums war er in verschiedenen Lebensmittelbetrieben besch\u00e4ftigt. Anschlie\u00dfend arbeitete er bei der Firma G. C. Hahn &amp; Co. GmbH\/Tate &amp; Lyle Food Systems in L\u00fcbeck in der Entwicklung als Lebensmitteltechnologe und hat dabei Erfahrungen in verschiedenen L\u00e4nderm\u00e4rkten gesammelt. Seine Schwerpunkte liegen in den Bereichen fermentierte und neutrale Produkte, sowie pflanzliche Sahneerzeugnisse. Von 2007 bis 2011 war er als Entwicklungsleiter bei G. C. Hahn &amp; Co Ltd. in Gro\u00dfbritannien t\u00e4tig, verantwortlich f\u00fcr die L\u00e4nderm\u00e4rkte Indien, Frankreich, Spanien und Gro\u00dfbritannien.
